- A particular chain had difficulty keeping its drive-thru line moving smoothly, negatively effecting throughput. QTimer’s Enterprise Reporting showed owners that certain sandwiches impacted the speed-of-service, and drive-thru performance suffered. With the problem identified, the manager revised operations to start sandwich preparation sooner for the day-part in question, eliminating the bottlenecks.
- QTimer’s Enterprise Reporting, at one franchisee, showed several blank data fields when certain crewmembers were on duty. This absence of information suggested theft – which was subsequently confirmed – and the franchisee owner was able to take appropriate action.
- At a chicken franchise, they were experiencing difficulty determining which types of chicken to cook and how much to make at different times of the day. By analyzing the POS transaction associated with each car, during each day part, they were able to alter the kitchen prep instructions to align with the variances in orders.
